Description

Original, collectible cigarette dispenser with music box, manufactured by the British company Selcol (Made in England) in the 1960s.
The model is made of black plastic with gold accents. After winding the mechanism and pressing the button, the music box plays a melody and six doors open automatically, providing access to the cigarettes.
This piece is a distinctive example of British functional design from the Mid-Century Modern period and is now a sought-after addition to collections of tobacco memorabilia and barware.
In very good condition for its age. The musical mechanism and opening system work properly. There are only minor signs of wear, appropriate to its age.
