Description

Modernist armchair manufactured by the Danish furniture maker Farstrup Møbler in the 1970s. The frame is made of solid beech wood in a dark bitter-chocolate shade. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in high-quality dark brown genuine leather. The cushion is secured using openings in the backrest. The armchair is lightweight and very comfortable. The streamlined shape of the armrests enhances comfort during use. The modernist form of this piece means it can become the focal point of many interiors.

The history of the brand dates back to 1910. Farstrup originally began as a sawmill near the beautiful Langesø forests. The company’s mission is to create and build high-quality furniture, often made to order, that enhances quality of life. Each piece is unique and reflects a heritage dating back to 1910, passed down through successive generations. A common feature of all Farstrup furniture is fine timber, usually more than 100 years old, as well as the use of only the highest-quality leathers and fabrics. Farstrup furniture represents Danish craftsmanship, and the wood at the factory passes through countless skilled hands. Craftsmanship is paramount, and the furniture is still 100% Made in Denmark.

The armchair has been preserved in its original vintage condition. The leather shows signs of age, including pigment changes and minor scuffs. The seat height is 42 cm. We also offer another armchair of the same model, only slightly taller.
