RY-20 sideboard designed by Hans Wegner, manufactured by Ry Møbler, Denmark, 1950s
Description
RY-20 sideboard designed in the 1950s by Hans Wegner and manufactured by the Ry Møbler workshop in Denmark. The piece is made of teak and has undergone professional restoration aimed at preserving its exceptionally original character.
This sideboard is an exceptional and extremely rare example of Scandinavian design from the mid-century modern period. It features six very spacious drawers fitted with teak handles and two cabinets with sliding doors. The back is finished in beautiful teak veneer, allowing it to serve as a room divider. Also noteworthy are the sideboard’s legs, made of solid teak, which run the entire height of the piece.
