A set of four chairs based on the minimalist and spatial idiom of conceptual art (post-object art). The chairs were designed in 1977 by Niels Jørgen Haugesen and manufactured by Hybodan A/S in Denmark. This model is called the X-line Chair. They are made of chromed steel rods and black enamelled perforated steel, used for the seat and headrest. They have a simple, graphic form and, when arranged in disarray, evoke an artistic spatial installation.

Niels Jørgen Haugesen lived from 1936 to 2013. He was an outstanding Danish architect and furniture designer whose work became a symbol of technical rigour and structural minimalism. He gained international recognition by combining an architectural understanding of space with artistic craftsmanship, enabling him to create furniture of exceptional lightness and durability.

The chairs have been preserved in their original vintage condition, with signs of age and use. The material has abrasions and traces of rust. Nevertheless, they remain fully functional. The seat height is 45 cm.
