Space Age floor lamp, Italy, 1960s

This 1960s floor lamp was made in Italy. It is made of chrome-plated elements set on a red metal base. The lamp has four double light points directed parallel upwards and downwards. The geometric shade accommodates 8 bulbs. The lamp is an ideal representative of the Space Age, when a strong appetite for fashionable, glossy and geometric qualities became the foundation of the style. It is a blend of futuristic and organic design. It will illuminate any interior perfectly.

The lamp has been preserved in its original vintage condition, with scuffs and scratches on the base, as well as signs of the passage of time. The switch is on the cord. The lamp requires 8 E14 screw-base bulbs.
