Square coffee table, HMB Möbler Rörvik, Sweden, 1960s

Coffee table made by the Swedish manufacturer HMB Möbler in Rörvik in the 1960s. The square top is finished in Brazilian rosewood with a dark, distinctive colour and pronounced, dense grain. Rich grain patterns create a highly appealing visual effect. The simple table legs are made of brushed aluminium with a metallic sheen. They are joined by a rosewood stretcher. The table is characterised by clean lines and creates a harmonious composition of the materials used. Crafted with precision and attention to detail. It will work well in a variety of interiors, bringing the aesthetic of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design to the space.
