Description

A set of four upholstered vintage dining chairs (type 5912) manufactured in the 1960s by Zamojskie Furniture Factories during the PRL period, reflecting the aesthetics of post-war Polish modernism.

The type 5912 chair design is characterised by an exceptionally solid joinery construction which, despite its durability, retains a visually light silhouette.
The furniture frame is made of beechwood with a warm brown finish.
The seats, with gently rounded edges, have been reupholstered in a textured bouclé fabric in subtle shades of beige and rust orange.
The whole is completed by round-section legs that taper gently towards the bottom.

The set has undergone comprehensive joinery and upholstery restoration, including the refreshing of the wooden elements and the complete replacement of the foam and upholstery fabric.
