Vintage teak coffee table, Sweden, 1960s
Low coffee table manufactured in Sweden in the 1960s. It is made of high-quality teak, which is exceptionally resistant to external factors, owing its longevity mainly to its specific composition, rich in oily substances and silicic acid. The tabletop, gently bevelled at the edges, is a warm brown shade with strongly pronounced grain. The legs, made of solid teak, create the impression that the tabletop is sinking into them. The table has a classic form characteristic of Scandinavian design from the Mid-Century Modern era and will fit perfectly into many interiors.
The table is in original vintage condition. It has minor age-related marks.
