Large brutalist candlestick, Lambert, Germany, 1970s
Description
Original four-arm decorative candelabra by Lambert, manufactured in West Germany in the 1970s.
A sculptural form with a distinctly brutalist character and a characteristic hammered surface texture, typical of Günther Lambert’s designs from this period. The minimalist yet highly decorative form is an ideal fit for modernist, wabi-sabi, brutalist and contemporary interiors.
The candelabra is made of aluminium or metal with a silver-plated finish. The original “Lambert” manufacturer’s label is intact, confirming the authenticity of the piece.
A highly striking, large-scale decorative piece — approximately 55 cm tall.
Condition: Good vintage condition with natural patina and visible signs of age on the surface, consistent with the character and period of the piece. Localised signs of oxidation and wear enhance its authenticity and emphasise its brutalist character.
Materials: Aluminium / silver-plated metal
A rare and highly decorative collectible.
