Åke Holm lived from 1900 to 1980. He was an artist and ceramicist based in Höganäs, Sweden. He often incorporated biblical motifs into his work, interpreted through a distinctly modernist aesthetic. Between 1966 and 1980, he produced a series of limited editions of these linocuts. Around 275 different prints are known to date. The museum in Höganäs holds a large collection of his works donated by the artist.
The artwork is in original vintage condition. The frame shows signs of use and age.
