Jörgen Birger Roland Fogelquist was born on 7 June 1927 in Mariestad, Skaraborg, and died on 27 February 2005 in Skåne. He was a Swedish artist. He grew up in Mariestad and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts from 1945 to 1949, at the Académie Libre in Stockholm from 1950 to 1951, and at the Academy of Fine Arts from 1951 to 1956. He became known not only for his graphic art, but also for approximately fifty public decorations made from various materials. Through concrete art featuring alternating curved and rectilinear forms, Fogelquist moved towards abstract expressionism. His paintings are characterised by rapid movements, surprising fantasy and an intense interplay of colours. One of the most interesting of his monumental works is a mural in the machine hall of the former Svenska Tobaks AB in Malmö.

Van Gelder Papier was a paper manufacturer whose history dates back to 1685. The company was based in Wormer, the Netherlands. This type of handmade paper became famous—especially in France—as papier de Hollandde, bearing the Van Gelder Zonen watermark.
