A timeless expression of Scandinavian craftsmanship, the Model 75 chair was designed by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik. This Danish design classic from the 1960s embodies the essence of Mid-Century Modern – a combination of simple form, unrivalled workmanship and exceptional comfort.

The Model 75, introduced in 1954, is one of Niels Otto Møller’s earliest and most recognisable dining chair designs. Its subtle lines and organic shapes reflect a profound understanding of wood and a passion for craftsmanship. Møller believed that a chair should be a work of art in its own right, and the Model 75 is a perfect example.

Unrivalled craftsmanship and materials:
Each individual Model 75 chair is an example of masterful cabinetmaking. Made from carefully selected pieces of teak, it is distinguished by its natural grain and warm satin finish. The construction relies on traditional, exceptionally strong joinery, such as mortise-and-tenon joints, eliminating the need for substantial cross-bracing between the legs and giving the chair a light, elegant appearance.

Comfort and details:
The seat, a key element of comfort, is made from natural paper cord (Danish papercord), handwoven to provide excellent ventilation and resilience.

The chairs are made from light teak wood. All components and their joints have been finished with great care. The edges are subtly rounded and the backrests gently contoured. The chairs are very well designed, comfortable and ergonomic.

The chairs are not new; they are vintage pieces of furniture with a past, traces of which have been preserved on the wooden elements in the form of minor scratches that do not affect their use. The wooden structure is preserved in very good, natural condition. The weave made from natural paper cord is in good condition, with slight discolouration; on one chair, it is locally torn, but remains complete with no losses.

The set includes 2 chairs. They are solid and stable. Preserved in excellent condition and ready for use.
