A modernist console with a mirror, model Ambassador made by the Swedish manufacturer Fröseke Nybrofabriken Ab in the 1960s. The cabinet is finished in dark rosewood. Its grain is highly pronounced, giving furniture made from this wood a highly decorative and luxurious appearance. The piece features three deep drawers with metal handles and two shallow shelves. The entire unit rests on a tall black plinth. The mirror is a separate component of the set, so it can be positioned independently. The mirror frame is made of rosewood and metal.

AB Nybrofabriken (later known as Fröseke AB) was a respected Swedish furniture manufacturer from the village of Fröseke, which played an important role in popularising the Scandinavian Modern style in the mid-20th century. Its best-known designs include elegant mirrors in wooden frames, coffee tables, chests of drawers with distinctive leather handles, and hall furniture. Today, Fröseke is primarily associated with high-quality craftsmanship and minimalist aesthetics that fit perfectly into contemporary interiors.

The set is preserved in its original vintage condition, with signs of age and natural patina. It has losses, abrasions, and marks on the metal handles. The original mirror glass is in very good condition.
