Vintage mirror in a plastic frame, 1980s
An original postmodern/Memphis-style wall mirror, made in Europe in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
The distinctive blue frame, made from moulded plastic with a subtle speckled pattern and decorative chrome accents, gives the piece a bold, geometric character typical of the design of that period.
The design is distinguished by soft, rounded lines and decorative cut-outs in the frame, making it a perfect fit for Memphis-style interiors, as well as mid-century modern, Space Age, or contemporary eclectic interiors.
The marking “GVUE S16” can be found on the reverse, but the manufacturer remains unknown. The mirror is in very good vintage condition — the frame looks excellent and the mirror surface is fully functional.
Condition: Very good vintage condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with its age.
Origin: Europe, circa 1985–1995.
