Michael John Casford lived from 1940 to 2005. He was an English visual artist and painter. In 1972, he moved to Norway because he believed it would be easier for him to establish himself as an artist there. For Casford, colours and shapes, rather than the figures themselves, are decisive in a painting. He considered his paintings to be fabrications, in which what is depicted is of secondary importance.
The work is in its original vintage condition.
