Description
Extendable rosewood table, designed by J. Andersen, Denmark, 1960s
A magnificent rosewood table designed by Johannes Andersen, known as the “king” of tables, for the Danish manufacturer Uldum in the 1960s. Impeccable detailing, a thick rounded edge, excellent integration of the legs with the frame, and two leaves finished to match the main tabletop come together into a harmonious whole when extended, increasing the table’s length to 240 cm. Finished in dark rosewood veneer with a beautiful grain pattern across the tabletop. The table has undergone a complete restoration and is protected with several coats of hardwax oil resistant to stains and water. The piece is in excellent condition, ready to be placed and admired.
Additional dimensions: Leaf width 60 cm | Width when extended 180 cm | 240 cm | Floor-to-table-frame height (chair clearance) 63 cm.
