Bernard Gantner lived from 1928 to 2018. He was a French painter. He is known for his winter landscapes of great poetic intensity. His drawings, created through direct contact with nature, are the source of most of his oils, watercolours and lithographs. In 1961, he received the Critics’ Prize. Gantner held numerous solo exhibitions in France as well as abroad.

The work is in original vintage condition. The sheet shows subtle signs of use.
