Round rosewood coffee table designed by Johannes Andersen for C.F.C. Silkebørg and produced in Denmark in the 1960s. This is model No. 283. This series of tables was one of Andersen’s most popular designs. Unique construction techniques and high-quality materials showcase the designer’s distinctive style. The angled, bevelled edges of the legs and tabletop soften the form and create an attractive, visually cohesive whole. Also noteworthy is the unique, seamless connection between the legs and tabletop. The table features light, regular rosewood grain patterns.
The table has been restored and is in very good vintage condition. It shows minor signs of age, a natural patina, and fine scratches.
