Thermal carafe, designed by G. Rosendahl, Falkenberg, Sweden, 1960s
Description
Thermal carafe designed by G. Rosendahl for the Swedish manufacturer Falkenberg in the 1960s. The thermos is made of cream-coloured plastic with a black base. The stopper features a design in which the rubber expands and contracts, creating a seal when turned. The inner vacuum flask retains heat for a very long time. The opening is designed so that a coffee or tea filter can be placed directly on it. Its slender shape and contoured opening combine convenience with elegance.
The thermos is in original vintage condition. Fully functional, it retains heat for many hours. It shows normal signs of use, including scratches and scuffs.
