Dagmar Glemme was born in Poland in 1942. After the war, her family settled in Germany, where Dagmar studied sculpture, architecture and painting at the University of Hanover. In 1973, she moved to Sweden, where she has continued to work as an artist to this day. Her work has been presented in more than 300 solo exhibitions. Since 2012, she has run the Dagmar Glemme Art Center and art exhibition salon, as well as Hasslarp Sculpture Park in Helsingborg.
