Pair of Knott Armchairs, Brunstad Møbelfabrikk, Norway, 1960s

This pair of Knott armchairs was produced in Norway in the 1960s by Brunstad Møbelfabrikk. The wooden elements are made of teak and have undergone professional, meticulous restoration involving the removal of old finishes, staining, and lacquer finishing. The seats and backs of the armchairs have been upholstered in new white bouclé fabric. The upholstery foam has also been replaced.
There is a minimal difference between the armchairs—one has two round cover caps, while the other has hexagonal ones. This is visible in the photographs.
