Patterns, textiles, patina and joyful eclecticism. Monika Michałowska has chosen pieces from our collection for warm interiors you never want to leave.
Monika Michałowska designs interiors that make you stop and stay – warm, cosy, full of pattern and objects with a history.

She studied interior design at the Faculty of Interior Architecture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, and earned a master's degree in art and landscape architecture at the University of Greenwich in London.

She has always been drawn to the British tradition of boldly mixing patterns and to joyful eclecticism. That is why her projects bring together wallpapers and textiles, natural materials that gain patina over time, and old furniture she gives a new life.

She designs houses, apartments and commercial spaces (including the concept of the Nonna pizzeria and a law office on Mokotowska Street). She believes the spaces we live in have a huge influence on the quality of our lives. Instead of playing it safe, she chooses rich colours, deep symbolism and genuine emotion that give interiors their character.
