Vintage exotic wood sideboard with drawers, Denmark, 1970s

A classic sideboard manufactured in Denmark in the 1970s. It is made of exceptionally interesting and rare exotic wood. The wood grain is subtle and complements the overall aesthetic of the piece. The sideboard has three drawers in the central section. The outer cabinets have doors and spacious shelves. Contrasting edges emphasise the geometric, enclosed lines of the design. It stands on elegant wooden sled legs in a darker shade of brown than the cabinet. Functional and visually light, the sideboard has a form characteristic of the Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern era.
