Björn Gustaf Rönnquist was born on 12 June 1948 in Sköns, Sundsvall, and died on 12 May 2005 in Malmö. He was a Swedish painter, illustrator and glass artist. Rönnquist grew up in Stockholm, but moved to Scania in the 1980s. Before turning to glass and painting, he worked as a draughtsman and illustrator. Among other things, he designed a collection of glass objects for the furniture company Ikea, including the Karisma egg.
The work is in original vintage condition.
